St. Ignatius Of Loyola Seminarian Talk

On the week of June 18th 2023, one of our seminarians gave a talk on the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola. St. Ignatius' story impacted him and he shared how we can all follow St. Ignatius' example of prayer to become saints.

Specifically, there are two primary forms of Ignatian prayer that we can all use to develop a relationship with Christ:

1. Ignatian Examen: The Ignatian Examen is an opportunity to discern God's will for our lives in a structured 10-minute self-reflection.
2. Ignatian Contemplation: Ignatian Contemplation is a popular form of praying with the Bible, using imagination and the 5 senses to make Bible stories come alive, allowing us to internalize the messages contained in them.
